Shaping international infrastructure to commercialize fusion energy.

A Singular Approach to Transforming the Future of Energy

Headquartered in Richmond, British Columbia, we collaborate with global partners to take advantage of talent and capabilities.

The Fusion Option

Climate Change is a Global Problem that Requires a Global Solution.

Richmond, British Columbia

Canada

British Columbia is the centre of a thriving world-class innovation ecosystem.

Support from the Canadian government has been instrumental in General Fusion’s success and growing presence. Our newly expanded headquarters, near Vancouver International Airport, will enable the earliest commercialization of our fusion technology. As General Fusion prepares to power homes, businesses, and industry with clean energy, our Richmond facility will provide a space to design and build LM26 to support our fusion demonstration program and our plan to commercialize fusion energy by the early to mid-2030s.

United Kingdom

Over the next two to three years, General Fusion will work closely with the UK Atomic Energy Agency (UKAEA) to validate the data gathered from LM26 and incorporate it into the design of the company’s planned commercial scale demonstration in the UK.

United States

General Fusion is collaborating with national labs across the United States, such as the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL), the University of Illinois, and more.
