Greg Twinney is the CEO of General Fusion and leads the company’s mission to make fusion power a practical, commercially viable source of energy for the world. Since joining the company in 2020, he has led General Fusion through major technical, commercial, and strategic milestones, expanding its global profile and strengthening relationships with investors, industry partners, and governments.
A seasoned technology executive with more than twenty-five years of experience, Greg has helped build and scale innovative companies, including Real Matters, Kobo, and Opalis, through periods of commercialization, significant growth and transformation.
Drawing on this experience, Greg brings an entrepreneurial approach to one of the world’s most ambitious energy challenges. He is focused on building General Fusion into a global leader in fusion energy and accelerating the path to commercial fusion power.
