Doug has 30 years of technology experience and has provided strategic counsel to companies spanning the areas of nuclear, software, water purification, medical, and other technologies sectors. He is currently Vice President, Legal & Insurance at Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL), Canada’s premier nuclear science and technology organization.
In his work at CNL, Doug has gained experience in all aspects of nuclear technology, from energy to medicine to waste. He is responsible for several functions, including legal, insurance, and intellectual property, and is the Corporate Secretary. Most recently, he has shepherded to independence a joint venture company that produces Ac-225, a rare medical radioisotope emerging as a powerful new weapon in the fight against cancer.
Doug holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University and an LLB from the University of Toronto.
