Some of my most memorable moments at General Fusion are the holiday parties. Everyone gets together over great music and delicious food and meets everyone’s partners and families. One year, we had an engineering challenge where we had to create a mini golf-like hole using only the materials provided on the spot. Seeing people building something together and the passion that went into it was inspirational.
If you asked my work team how they would describe me, they would say I am bubbly, energetic, willing to learn new stuff, positive, secretly love spreadsheets, and slightly bossy!
In winter, I love baking, especially macarons. They’re so finicky, requiring precise measurements and careful temperature control, which makes the process feel like a scientific experiment. In the summer, though, my passion shifts to paddleboarding.
I have a couple of favourite things. For food, it is lasagna with béchamel. The creamy sauce and layers of pasta make it incredibly comforting. My favorite music is the 90s, and 2000s pop hits—a little Aqua never hurt anyone, right?
