Pascal Dumont has 25 years of experience in geosciences, radiation protection, nuclear safety and regulatory affairs. His leadership experience includes optimizing regulatory frameworks in line with international and national best practices. Pascal also specializes in modernizing regulatory documents for adaptation to emerging and advanced nuclear technologies.
Pascal worked as a Canadian expert at the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna, where he consulted for nuclear safety capacity building initiatives in South-Eastern Europe. He also served as a Senior Regulatory Policy Officer at the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC). At CNSC, Pascal worked on regulatory policy analysis for major projects and the modernization of regulatory documents, including implementing technology neutral guidance and requirements.
