US Department of Energy Under Secretary for Science visits General Fusion

General Fusion recently had the honour of hosting US Department of Energy Under Secretary for Science Paul Dabbar to see first-hand the progress we are making toward the first commercial fusion power plants. Founder Dr. Michel Laberge led the tour of our facility, providing a close-up look at how new technologies such as industrial 3D printing and high speed electronics are accelerating the commercialization of fusion. Highlights included PI3, the world’s largest plasma injector, as well as large scale systems for General Fusion’s upcoming demonstration plant.
